I've been to a lot of gyms in Bangkok. Not as a tourist. Not on a two-week holiday. I mean really in them — on the mats, talking to the trainers, watching the fighters, understanding how each camp actually operates.

Over 5 years, I visited most of the main gyms across the city. I got to know the trainers personally. The fighters. The managers. I started to understand the different tiers — the elite championship camps, the beginner-friendly spots, the hidden gems that never show up in any guide.

I thought I knew everything there was to know about training Muay Thai in Bangkok.

Then I tried to Google it.

The Problem Nobody Was Talking About

Here's what happens when a foreigner searches "best Muay Thai gyms in Bangkok."

You get a mess.

Blog posts from 2015. TripAdvisor reviews with no context. Reddit threads where someone asks a question and gets 40 different opinions. Facebook groups where the same three gyms get recommended over and over because they have good marketing, not because they're actually the best fit for you.

The information was scattered, outdated, and almost impossible to trust.

And I kept thinking — I have all this knowledge sitting in my head. Why isn't it anywhere useful?

The Idea

I've always had a background in tech. And after building Fightlore into a real community — the store, the YouTube channel, the content — I realised I had something nobody else had.

Five years of boots on the ground data. Real relationships. First-hand knowledge of over 100 gyms across Bangkok and beyond.

So I decided to build something with it.

What Fightlore+ Actually Is

Fightlore+ is a gym finder powered by AI — but the AI is only as good as the data feeding it. And that data is ours. Built from scratch. Unique to Fightlore.

You tell it what you're looking for. Your level. Your goals. How long you're staying. Whether you want a hardcore championship environment or somewhere more welcoming for beginners. Whether you care about location, price, or the quality of the foreign fighter program.

It then matches you with the right gym — not the most marketed one. The right one for you.

We're currently live with over 100 gyms and adding more every month.

Why This Matters

The goal has always been bigger than just selling gear.

The goal is to be the number one hub for Muay Thai — the place fighters, beginners, and enthusiasts come to for everything. The gear. The knowledge. The community. And now, the tools to find exactly where to train.

If you're planning a trip to Bangkok, or you're already here and not sure where to train — stop Googling. The answer is already waiting for you.
